Graphic Range Control (GRC 5)

GRC-5 Hardware

GRC-5 Software

Overview

The RCS includes all functionality and hardware required for efficient support of all force-on-target exercise phases, from initial planning and scenario setup to exercise control and analysis, plus result presentation in AARs. The RCS provides interface with new and legacy communication infrastructure including UHF/VHF radio, LAN(Ethernet) or RS485.

GRC 5 provides the capability to prepare and execute training scenarios for force–on–target training. Situational awareness is achieved through continuous acquisition and presentation of hit events and target status. Reports of scoring can be generated for individuals and/or units and includes data such as total hits, hits relative to exposures, time first hits, impact points etc. depending on range capability.

Features

The RCS includes a workstation with GRC 5 range-control software, LAN, printer, UPS and interface to the communication system. The communication interface is configured for each installation depending on local requirements and prerequisites. Wireless and hardwired control are both supported.

The GRC 5 includes all functionality required for efficient support of all Force-on-target exercise phases, from initial planning and scenario setup to exercise control and analysis and result presentation in AARs. The GRC 5 software supports stationary and portable PC-platforms and multiple methods of communication, including Radio, Ethernet, RS485.
